![]() The AFC design is great, 8 nice clicky little stops making adjustment a breeze and it stays on the setting you have selected. If this is the kind of flow you look for you will be very happy, we personally like more of a restricted lung-hit and find ourselves only using about 1/4 or less of the airflow. We can’t really fault the flavour or vapor quality, it just leaves you wanting more from this tank.Īirflow is tremendous, so much that we couldn’t possibly inhale the volume it can handle. Vapor production is good, but maybe it’s the ceramic or the design of the tank, the vapor is a little wispy, it lacks the thick voluminous clouds you would expect from a tank like this. But with all this power it’s a warm vape but nothing overly crazy (we do like warm vapes though). This fluctuation is a little unsettling to us and also really effects the power hitting the coil, getting as high as 8V at times. We have also noticed a lot of ohm resistance fluctuation with our coil, it started out at 0.3 ohms and now after some use seems to rest at 0.44 and rise as high as 0.8 when vaping/heating. There seems to be a ramp up time for these coils to get to operating temp and it’s pretty quick with these FreeMax coils, maybe 1/2 a second. The flavour off of ceramic is very clean, almost crisp and is something you need to try for yourself. But when it comes to flavour, it’s good but not outstanding, and the vapor production while decent is missing some density. The Scylla has all the features we would expect to find on todays clearos, top fill, lots of airflow options, access to your coil with a full tank, leak proof, and quality materials. If you have been looking for a tank that will let you give your mod a run through the watts, this might just be the tank for you. This is one crazy clearo, it can take a ton of power, so much that it scares us a bit. It’s a pretty tall tank that packs some great new coil technology and boy can it wick with the best of them. We have been curious about all these Ceramic Coils hitting the market, and the fine folks over at FreeMax sent us their new Scylla Clearomizer. ![]()
